AAI have gained approval as recognised installers of equipment across the whole security and fire spectrum. Total flexibility of product enhances AAI’s credibility has a ‘Total System’ Company. After sales support is reflected in the continuing expansion of maintenance contracts, now approaching ‘five and a half thousand’ across the company.

The continued growth of the business, covering a wider range of services to an ever-expanding customer base in high technology industries, demanded a move to larger premises, 1997 seeing the opening of ‘Security House’. Situated on the Stirling Industrial Estate, Borehamwood, this prime position allows excellent access to the major motorways and is still only 20 minutes from Central London.

All key personnel & engineering staff are equipped with mobile phones, pagers. All engineering staffs vehicles are fitted with Securicor/Siemens Vehicle tracking devices to enable the nearest engineer to attend a site in the quickest possible time to restore critical, life, security and safety systems to correct operation should a fault develop or where an engineers attendance is required

Andy Gilmore is currently a member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) Security Systems Section Technical Committee (SSSTC), British Standards Institute (BSI) GW1/2 Technical Committee and the NSI/NACOSS Fire Sector Committee representing installation companies' on technical issues within the industry together with being a member of the main BSIA Security System Section main committee. Andy is also is Vice Chairman and Technical Representative of the London Metropolitan Section of NSI/NACOSS Forums having previously been a member of a direct, NACOSS technical sub committee representing NACOSS Approved Installers.

Keith Avey has spent the majority of his working life within the Security Industry have been trained initially by 'AFA-Minerva'. Keith has worked for a number of well known security companies including Shield Protection, ADT, Chubb Alarms, Advanced SOS Group, Telecom Security, Lander Alarms & Securicor Alarms.

Richard Peat joined AAI from Knight Electronic Security Systems (later acquired by AAI) in December 1997 as a Security Systems Service Engineer. Prior to joining AAI Richard had various engineering positions with other Security Company's.

All the above have accumulated over 100 years experience in the alarm industry. Supported by Louise Jackson & Andrea Johnson as Installation Administrators, Joanne Kemp & Caz Burden as Service Administrators, enabling a team of Fifteen highly qualified engineers to work to very high standards with continuous ongoing in house and external training and auditing.
