What is IFSEC?
Starting life over 40 years ago as a means of encouraging excellence and innovation throughout the industry, IFSEC International (along with its sister event FIREX International) is the biggest of event of its kind worldwide, regularly attracting in excess of 30,000 visitors over its three days.
Covering all aspects of the security and fire safety industries, from the obvious, such as new alarm technologies, to the more unorthodox, like counter terror measures, IFSEC welcomes expert visitors from organisations based all over the world – over 150 countries were represented last year!
Not only is the event a great way for those working in the industry to learn about new trends and developments, it is also the ideal place to source products, and to see them in action.
IFSEC 2015
Taking place on 16th-18th June at the ExCel in London, IFSEC International 2015 looks set to be the biggest event yet. With a huge list of exhibitors, the location will be split into a number of different areas. Attendees will be able to visit a showcase of new equipment at the Innovation Trail and Innovation Arena; order new products at the Installer Live area; take a look around the Safe Cities education area and much more.
This year also sees the opportunity to experience inspirational talks from a number of guest speakers at the Keynote Arena. On the lineup for IFSEC 2015 are influential businesswoman Baroness Karren Brady, renowned explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, and Britain’s most successful Olympian Sir Chris Hoy.
FIREX 2015
Running alongside IFSEC International over the same weekend, FIREX International pulls together the leading experts in the global fire safety industry to discuss new technologies and to share ideas. There will be a number of seminars for visitors to attend throughout the weekend, with both the Expertise and Guidance Theatre and the FPA Infozone providing a base for FIREX’s operations.
Both IFSEC and FIREX are ideal for those operating within the fields of fire and security, and each event complements the other, providing three days of invaluable experience for companies and manufacturers alike.
